1. Service Description

passubly is a password and subscription management application. It provides a tool for users to securely store and manage passwords, credentials, and subscription information.

2. Premium (Paid Plan)

2.1 14-Day Premium Experience

• For 14 days after installation, you can use all Premium features free of charge.
• No payment method is required to start or use the experience, and no charge occurs automatically when it ends.
• When the period ends, the App automatically returns to the free plan (item limits and ads apply).

2.2 Premium Subscription

• Premium is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) billed to your Apple ID or Google account.
• Purchases, renewals, and billing are handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. The developer does not receive or hold your payment information.
• The price shown on the product page of your store applies.
• Only when you purchase a yearly plan during the experience period, a discounted price applies for the first year; from the second year onward the subscription renews automatically at the regular yearly price (the price shown in the App and in the store prevails).
• Unless you cancel, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period.

2.3 Cancellation

To cancel, use your store's subscription management screen (iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). The developer cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. After cancellation, Premium features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for.

2.4 Refunds

Refunds are governed by the terms and policies of the App Store and Google Play. The developer cannot issue refunds directly. Please request refunds from the store where you made the purchase.

2.5 Scope of Entitlements

Your Premium entitlement is tied to the store account used for the purchase. Entitlements are not shared between iOS and Android. If you use the App on both platforms, a separate purchase is required in each store.

2.6 Data After Cancellation or Expiry

Even after cancellation or expiry, you can always view and delete your registered data and create encrypted backups. CSV export is a Premium feature. We never delete your data or block access to it because of your billing status.

3. Disclaimer

3.1 "As-Is" Provision

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as-is" without any warranties, either express or implied. No warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement are included.

3.2 User Responsibility

• Data Management: You are solely responsible for managing and securing all data stored on your device (passwords, credentials).
• Device Security: You are responsible for protecting your device against loss, theft, or unauthorized access.
• App lock and backup passphrase: You are responsible for managing the 4-digit app lock code and the passphrase for your encrypted backups. By design, if you lose them, no one — including the developer — can recover them.
• Backups: Regular backups are strongly recommended. While the App provides encrypted backup and CSV export (Premium) functionality, performing regular backups is your responsibility.

3.3 Liability for Data Loss

The developer shall not be liable for:

• Data loss due to device crash, hardware failure, or OS updates
• Data loss due to user error, deletion, or export
• Data loss due to App bugs, malfunctions, or unexpected behavior

3.4 Features That Depend on External Services

• Breach check results are reference information based on the Have I Been Pwned database and do not guarantee safety.
• Exchange rates are approximate and may differ from the amount you are actually billed.
• Ads are non-personalized ads served by Google AdMob. They may fail to load or be delayed.

3.5 Limitation of Liability

The disclaimers and limitations of liability in this Section do not apply to damages caused by the developer's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the App during the 12 months preceding the time the damage occurred. If you use the App free of charge, that cap is JPY 1,000.

Nothing in this Section limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the Japanese Consumer Contract Act.

4. Terms of Use

4.1 Permitted Use

• The App is permitted for personal, non-commercial use only.
• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• If a minor purchases a paid plan of the App, the consent of a parent or other legal guardian is required.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Modifying, altering, or creating derivative works of the App
• Redistributing the App for commercial purposes
• Using the App for illegal activities, fraud, or impersonation

4.3 Feedback and Improvement

Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions provided by users may be used to improve the App.

5. Intellectual Property

The code, design, logo, and related materials of the App are protected by copyright. Users receive a non-exclusive license for personal use only.

6. Modifications and Discontinuation

6.1 Modification and Discontinuation of the App

The developer reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App without prior notice.

6.2 Changes to These Terms

The developer may change these Terms. The revised Terms are posted on this site and take effect on the effective date specified at the time of posting. For changes that materially affect you, the revised Terms are posted on this site at least 7 days before the effective date. If you use the App on or after the effective date, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

6.3 Data If the Service Ends

Even if the App is discontinued, the data stored on your device is not lost. If we discontinue the App, we will announce it on this site at least 30 days in advance. Encrypted backup and CSV export (Premium) remain available until the App is discontinued.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer's location as the court of first instance.
